Cinco de Mayo
This is an exciting and meaningful project that aims to restore and celebrate the cultural diversity and history of our community. For too long, the stories and voices of Black, Indigenous and People of Color have been silenced by injustice. This project uses art as a powerful tool to reclaim and share those stories, and to create spaces for joy and healing. The cultural awareness/artistic project offers an opportunity to re-shape narratives in pursuit of a more inclusive society. Through art, we will build bridges of understanding and solidarity among people from different backgrounds and experiences.

We believe that communities have the power to bring change when they engage in dialogue and action that address the root causes of disconnection and inequality. We also believe that community organizations play a vital role in supporting, serving, and empowering residents, especially young people.
