Our Impact

Our Impact: Building Bridges in Tuolumne County

Since 2023, ConAmor Building Bridges has worked to honor the complex history of our region and cultivate spaces where neighbors can be together. Our work is rooted in the belief that when we acknowledge our full history and embrace our shared humanity, we strengthen the foundation of our entire community.

By the Numbers (2023–2026)

  • Celebrating Community: Hosted five years of the “Cinco de Mayo: An American Tradition” festival, fostering cultural pride and intergenerational connection.
  • Courageous Dialogue: Facilitated recurring workshops and series, such as Beyond Gold: Stories Across Cultures, to reframe our local historical narratives.
  • Community Investment: Successfully stewarded over $100,000 in seed funding to formalize our community-centered cultural programming and research initiatives.

Why It Matters

We are not just hosting events; we are building infrastructure for long-term belonging. Our projects—from library dialogues to collaborative research—create the “safe and courageous spaces” necessary for meaningful change. By centering the voices of those often left out of the traditional narrative, we ensure that the story of Tuolumne County is one that includes us all.
